It is important to note that this GTS version is equipped with a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated boxer engine that delivers 400 hp. It should not be confused with the first 718 GTS models, which were equipped with a 2.5-litre turbocharged boxer engine (365 hp).

This unit has a 6-speed manual gearbox with very short travel.

This version is no longer sold new, so anyone who wants this model has to resort to the few units available on the second-hand market. Another attractive feature is that VAT is deductible on this unit.
