Vehicle description
Porsche 911 SC (204 hp) sold new in January 1982 in Germany and registered in Spain in 2022. Vehicle with manual gearbox and a mileage of 132,832 km.
The car is painted in Guards red (Code G1) with a black interior. The seats were subsequently reupholstered, with red-and-blue tartan fabric used in the centre section, very similar to the pattern known as ‘McLaughlan’ or ‘McLaughlin’, which featured on the famous 911 Turbo ‘No. 1’, gifted to Louise Piëch for her 70th birthday in 1974.
Mechanically, it should be noted that the engine was replaced at some point during the car’s life with one of the same type (930/10) and specifications, but from the previous year (1981).
In 2023, a bodywork restoration, full repaint (original color) and engine restoration were carried out. Photographs documenting this work are available.
In terms of its history, it comes with a significant amount of work recently carried out at an official Porsche Centre and specialist workshops. Notable upgrades include the replacement of all 4 shock absorbers (green Koni), 4 tyres, a new clutch, the fitting of a short-shift gearbox, the installation of a restored Blaupunkt Wien radio, and the replacement of the exhaust manifolds, amongst others.
The vehicle is supplied with a tool bag matching the interior upholstery.
