Julià 911 at the Peking to Paris 2024

19 May, 2024

37 days, 14,000km, 76 participants from 26 countries, vehicles before 1976,... are some of the figures that describe one of the oldest and toughest motor events in the world, the Peking to Paris Rally. With the help of one of our clients and aboard a 911 prepared in our workshop, Julià 911 will be present in this 2024 edition.

The history of this exciting event began in 1907, when the first edition was held with 5 participating vehicles. An Italian adventurer and nobleman, Scipione Borghese, was the first winner and was 20 days ahead of the second. In that edition, there were no rules...the winner would simply be the one who arrived in Paris first.

However, for different reasons, this event was not held again and 90 years had to pass before the second edition was held. It was hand in hand with the current organizers, who since then have organized the event in the years 1997, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2024.
